The point of the project was to take an invaluable piece of fabric, in this case it was a plain white quilt from a thrift store, and make it into a piece of art. The pieces of circular fabric were remnants I had lying around the house (and glad to be rid of, to be honest) and I hand sewed them onto the quilt. The center, background, and border were later silkscreened.
Saaya's Quilt
I figured since I haven't been able to do any pages because of school and work, I should at least make some of the patterns in Saaya's room.
Here's her quilt in progress. Read: the white paper and blue tape are for protection, not aesthetic purposes ;-)
